Often known as the ‘Queen of Soul,’ Aretha Franklin has sold over 75 million records worldwide. Signed to Atlantic Records in 1966, her hit songs include ‘Respect,’ ‘(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman’ and ‘I Say a Little Prayer.’

Her music career began after being noticed for her talent while performing as part of a gospel choir at New Bethel Baptist Church in Detroit.
