Happy Mondays were formed in 1980 by brothers Shaun and Paul Ryder and were later joined by Mark ‘Bez’ Berry who is their dancer and percussionist. The band were instrumental in the development of the Madchester and rave scenes.
Originally signed to Factory Records, their most successful albums are ‘Madchester Rave On’ and ‘Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches’ which went platinum in the UK.
