Not to be confused with the US grunge band, Nirvana were a British pop rock band formed in 1966. They reformed in 1985 and sued US Nirvana for use of the name! Their song 'Rainbow Chaser' achieved some commercial success, reaching 34 on the UK singles chart in 1968.
