Perhaps most famous for her starring role in Grease (1978) alongside John Travolta, Olivia Newton John was also a highly successful recording artist. Her 1981 single ‘Physical’ was a unanimous hit and has been described as ‘one of the most successful career revivers in history.’ At the time, it was a controversial release because of its provocative nature – particularly the music video.

Four years prior to her appearance in Grease, Newton John represented the UK in the 1974 Eurovision song contest with her song, ‘Long Live Love’. It placed as a three-way tie for 4th place.
