Signing his first record deal with Warner Bros. at 19, Prince is regarded as one of the greatest musicians of his generation.

Prince recorded and performed his music alongside his backing band, ‘the Revolution’ – including his most famous singles ‘Purple Rain’ and ‘Doves Cry.' He was also responsible for recording several tracks for the 1989 ‘Batman’ film and ended up recording an entire album, with the track ‘Batdance’ topping the US singles chart.
