Gordon Summer, also known as Sting is famous for being the front man of The Police as well as for his solo work. His greatest solo hit songs include ‘Russians,’ ‘Englishman in New York’ and ‘Fields of Gold.’

His stage name, Sting, came about because early in his career he would often wear a black and yellow striped jumper, which his bandmates said made him look like a bee.
