Founded in Bath in 1981 by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, Tears for Fears are one of the most successful bands of the 80s. Orzabal and Smith had previously collaborated in their band Graduate.
With inspiration for their sound coming from artists like
Gary Numan and
Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears have certainly made their mark on music history with singles including ‘Shout’ and ‘Everybody Wants to Rule the World.’
