Shirley Bassey Vinyl Records

Dame Shirley Bassey was born in Cardiff in 1937 and was appointed as a Dame in 1999 for services to the performing arts. Influencing many other singers including Aretha Franklin, Bassey recorded the theme songs for three James Bond films. She is the only artist to have recorded more than one.

In 2022 at 85, she captivated viewers with her performance of ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ at the Bond film series 60th anniversary celebration.
