Our Comments: There's a line inside this gatefold that didn't last long. 'Management: Jim Simpson, Big Bear, Birmingham' was printed on the first issue of Paranoid and pulled almost immediately, as the band and Big Bear fell out over their contract just as the album came out. That credit is the quickest way to tell a true first UK issue from the second, which used the same large-swirl Vertigo labels - and this copy has it, along with 1Y//1 2Y//1 matrices and the original matt gatefold. Old sticker on sleeve rear. Wear to spine and sleeve edges. The whole release is fairly well worn, the record has a small number of small scratches that do cause some repeated clicks that are louder than the music, but do not cause the record to jump or skip around. On the whole, the audio playback of this record sits somewhere around VG+, with only quiet background noise that doesn't overpower the music. However, thanks to the small scratches that do cause more noise in some parts, we've given this a Good grade overall.
