Our Comments: Where Coldplay really begin: the 'Blue Room' EP was their first release for Parlophone in 1999, the stepping stone to Parachutes, and it carries an early, markedly different version of 'Don't Panic' alongside 'High Speed'. The 12" was a limited, individually numbered edition - this is copy No. 0613. This copy has retained much of its original shine but has some light surface marks that are visible under a bright light. There is some quiet background noise audible through a reasonable amount of the music, so we've graded this at a fairly conservative VG+.
