Jimmy Page - No Quarter: Jimmy Page & Robert Plant Unledded - 2 x LP Vinyl

Our Comments: Page and Plant were asked to do an MTV Unplugged and took the brief fairly loosely, bringing in an orchestra, an Egyptian ensemble, mandolins and a hurdy-gurdy, and filming in London, Wales and Marrakech. No Quarter is the album that came out of it in November 1994, reworking Zeppelin songs alongside a handful of new ones. This is the original US double LP on Atlantic, pressed when vinyl was very much the minority format. Edges of sleeve creased, records also show some light wear with some superficial marks visible under a bright light. On the whole, playback is near mint, with very little background noise. However, the light surface marks bring our visual and therefore audio grade down to EX. This is a fascinating record, we enjoyed getting to know this one.
