Our Comments: Zeppelin's 1976 concert film needed a soundtrack, and The Song Remains The Same is it - stretched-out live versions from Madison Square Garden, most of them running well past their studio lengths. This is the audiophile way to hear it: the 2002 Classic Records reissue on 200-gram Quiex SV-P 'super vinyl', in the embossed gatefold sleeve. Despite very clean looking surfaces, this copy does play with quiet and intermittent background noise, improving as you move further into each side. Side D has a few more visible surface marks, which do cause a little more background noise. This does bring the grade to a VG+ overall, despite all other sides playing at NM or EX.
