Our Comments: This is Wish You Were Here in its CBS Mastersound guise - the US half-speed-mastered audiophile edition, cut at half speed for a cleaner, more extended sound and issued with the Mastersound insert. The 1982 pressing is the one collectors want, since it corrected an EQ error carried by the original 1980 half-speed cut. This copy has been well cared for in its time, with a strong original shine and only a handful of superficial surface marks visible under a bright light. There is only occasional, very quiet background noise, consistent with an EX grade.
