Our Comments: One of the most confrontational debuts of its era: Alan Vega and Martin Rev's Suicide, all pulsing electronics and rockabilly menace, with the harrowing 'Frankie Teardrop' at its centre - a record that helped invent synth-punk and terrified a fair few audiences along the way. This is a first pressing on Red Star Records from 1977 (matrices AS / BS). While the record has a clear loss of shine, it is mostly free of surface marks and certainly without scratches that could causes louder pops or clicks. The audio playback is fantastic.
