Our Comments: The Afghan Whigs' sweaty, soul-soaked final album of the '90s: Greg Dulli's love letter to lust and trouble, named for the year of his birth. This is the US pressing on Columbia, cut at Masterdisk, and it still has its hype sticker on the shrink-wrap. Despite a reasonable amount of loss of shine on the play surface and some superficial surface marks, this copy sounds excellent and is generally free of background noise or anything that could overpower the music. However, due to the visual condition of this record, we've graded it at VG+.
