The Beatles - From Then To You - LP Vinyl Record - VG+/VG+

Our Comments: Not really an album at all but the last thing the Beatles' UK fan club ever sent out: a 1970 LP gathering all seven of the Christmas flexi-discs mailed free to members between 1963 and 1969, issued just as the band were falling apart. With the master tapes mislaid, it was cut from copies of the original flexis, and the UK edition is considerably scarcer than its American cousin. This is the Apple/Lyntone pressing (LYN 2153/2154) with the mastering numbers are stamped the wrong way round, 2154 on side one and 2153 on side two, though the sides themselves play correctly. It also comes with the previous owner's original order form (from the British Heart Foundation), a small section snipped out to remove their personal details. Record has strong original shine but does play with a reasonable amount of quiet background noise - possibly original to the recordings given they include many spoken parts. Playback close EX overall, but ultimately graded VG+.
