Our Comments: The UK Yellow Submarine has no dedicated mono mix - it's a fold-down of the stereo - which makes the mono PMC 7070 the odd one out among their original mono LPs. This is a first pressing, dark-green Apple labels with 'An E.M.I. Recording' and the XEX 715-1 / 716-1 matrices, side two being George Martin's orchestral score for the film. Not pictured, but this copy comes with its original die-cut black inner sleeve, which is in decent shape but does have some writing across it. The release is in consistently VG+ condition throughout, with surface marks visible under a bright light and quiet but fairly consistent background noise - nothing that overpowers the music or causes repeated offensive pops or skips.
