Product Details
Our Comments: Seventeen Seconds is where the Cure turned properly inward - the sparse, grey, atmospheric sound that set up Faith and the records that followed. This is a first UK pressing on Fiction: the lightly textured sleeve, the FIX 004 catalogue number on the rear (later issues read FIXD 4). Light mottling on sleeve. The record has retained its original shine but does have a reasonable number of light surface marks visible under a bright light. There are a handful of more audible clicks close to the beginning of the A side, which brings this one below an EX grade. Beyond the first track on each side, this copy is in lovely generally EX condition, though we have ultimately given it VG+ overall.
