Our Comments: Townes Van Zandt at close to his best - home to 'Pancho & Lefty' and 'If I Needed You'. Originally issued in 1972, this is the 1988 UK and European reissue on Decal, an MPO-pressed edition (etched MPO in the runouts). Van Zandt on vinyl is scarce in any form, so a clean copy of even a reissue like this is notable. Our copy is in lovely shape, with some slight loss of shine on the play surface but with almost no background noise and only a few light surface marks visible under a bright light.
