Here's our rundown of the top 10 rarest records we sold in October 2026! This month’s list is mainly made up of rock records and names you’d expect, but there are a couple of unusual records too.
Highlights include a half-speed mastered copy of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here, a Transitional Pressing of The Beatles' Revolver, and a couple of Vertigo Swirl records to top it off.
You can read our other top tens and a guide to protecting your records by exploring the rest of our blog.

10 - Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon - LP
It's a rare month when Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon doesn't feature in our top 10. Our best-selling album two years running, copies continue to fly of the shelves. This edition is a second pressing, so very close to the original, coveted, blue triangle first pressing.
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here - LP
Pink Floyd appears again at number 9, this time with a half-speed mastered copy of Wish You Were Here, remastered in the USA - a quick seller from our recent Ultra-Rare Drop. The half-speed mastering boasts a cleaner, more extended sound, and this edition also corrected an error from the previous 1980 half-speed mastering.

8 - The Keith Tippett Group - Dedicated To You, But You Weren't Listening - LP
Complete with its original Vertigo Swirl inner sleeve, original pressings from the Swirl Era of Vertigo pressings are high in the rankings of rarity. Vertigo have their own rarity scale, with all of the records pressed on the swirl labels making the list.
7 - Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin III - LP
A first pressing on orange and plum labels, Led Zeppelin's third album, complete with spinning wheel inside the die-cut sleeve, is the band's most interactive album cover. This copy was in almost pristine condition, considering that the album was released in 1970, and many copies we see haven't been as well looked after.
6 - The Beatles - Revolver - LP
This copy of The Beatles' Revolver had a transitional quirk, with the text on one side of the label being in sans serif, and the other being Times New Roman. The mid-run change between fonts ended up with some copies - like this one - having one label of each typeface, a unique addition to a Beatles collection!
5 - George Harrison - All Things Must Pass - Box Set
Focusing now on just the one Beatles member for number 5, we have George Harrison's All Things Must Pass box set. Because of the light colouring on the box, and the thin paper inner sleeves, its rare that copies of this come to us in good condition. This copy - at EX/EX - is one of the best condition copies we have ever seen!
4 - Gentle Giant - Gentle Giant - LP
Gentle Giant's debut album makes number 4 on our top ten this month. The album was made after the Shulman brothers walked away from pop success with Simon Dupree and the Big Sound to chase something stranger. This is a first UK pressing on Vertigo's large swirl label. Because Vertigo took on a lot of new artists at the time they were producing the swirl label, only a small amount of copies were initially produced, as they didn't know how well they would sell. Once there was enough demand for the records to be repressed, Vertigo had switched to another label design, making original swirl pressings highly sought after.
3 - The Who - Live At Leeds - LP
A first pressing from The Who, identifiable from the black stamped text on the outer sleeve. Later reissues had red or blue. This edition also carried all 11 inserts, plus the original poster, which are replicas of contracts, receipts and photos - a very rare find to have all of them present!
2 - Alice Cooper - A Fistful Of Alice - LP
Recorded at Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo club in Mexico in 1996, A Fistful Of Alice caught Cooper live with guests dropping in - Slash, Rob Zombie, Hagar himself. It never made it to vinyl at the time, so this 2010 Friday Music edition - an 180-gram double LP in a gatefold sleeve - is the first pressing to put it on record. A must-have for any Alice Cooper collector.
1 - Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon - LP
No, you're not seeing double. Yes, this list is a The Dark Side Of The Moon sandwich. Completing our list this month is a first pressing of this album. It came with both posters, but the stickers were missing - common with this album. Easily identifiable from the solid blue triangle, it's always exciting when we pull out the record to see this looking back at us.
